Great knife for rope splicing, quality material

Excellent knife! Sturdy solid feel and a sharp blade. Easy to open and close. Would have given 5 stars, but the belt clip only has one position that is not in a natural drawing position for me.

An excellent knife that I use every day at work from cutting rope to splicing lines. A good weight and good size in your hand. The blade and marlinspike come out smoothly, lock securely and work as they should. I have had many compliments on it and find it indispensable. Love it!

A great knife. Well built and the high quality is self evident. It has a super sharp blade that cuts through rope and cord like butter.

Haven’t had much time with this knife yet. I bought it as a belt knife for when I’m packing horses, (lots of rope work there and always a possibility of a tangle - though, I’ve been lucky there). The knife certainly seems up to the task. And, I’ve used the Marlinspike for a few small non-traditional tasks. Not a multi-tool but handy.

Weak locks on this knife make it dangerous. Blade folds in towards fingers during light tasks. Shackle lock is generally useless due to small size. If you use the marlin spike instead it will destroy the knife. Very heavy. Looks nice tho, may be ok gift for gentle sailor
