Must-Have Dielectric Grease for Saltwater Environments
I work a lot in a saltwater environment, and I honestly wouldn’t make electrical connections without this grease. It does an excellent job sealing and protecting connections from corrosion and moisture. The compound applies smoothly and stays where it’s put without making a mess. I also really like the dispenser—it makes application easy and controlled. Overall, this is a product I trust and use every time. . Works well for underwater electrical components
I pack electrical motors, connectors, and wire for my home-built ROV, and have yet to have a short or anything damaged. The low setting still puts out a little more than I need, but easy to work around. I just use a small plastic cup to put the grease in, and use an applicator and/or my fingertip (wearing Nitrile gloves) to apply the grease. It's easy to clean up, I just use 409 and a paper towel, and it cleans any mess right up. I've been using CRC products for a long time and never been disappointed with the quality of their products I use.

Used to be 12 dolla a tube
Other than the major price increase this is still one of my favorite dielectric grease to use. Being a Marine grade grease is a set it and forget it design, most other dielectric grease grades will melt away when hot and wash away when wet... good luck using those near the engine or exhaust components... or if you like to ride outdoors and see the OHV trails, a little river water will wash the grease away and short your equipment in no time flat. No problems with this grease in the heat or drenched in water. Just look at the amount of connectors they cram behind the headlight housing on one of my motorcycles... just as many connections under the seat and scattered around the engine and fuel tank... all of them are unsealed to the elements just waiting to pop a fuse, cause ECU problems, or even an electrical fire (worst-case scenario) at the sight of moisture and corrosion. Spend the time and seal the connectors... Pre Delivery Inspection should do this for you... but PDI nowadays is just an upcharge to put the front wheel and handlebars on your motorcycle or ATV, they skip all of the important things like greasing the brakes, bearings, and through bolts (wheel and frame), dielectric greasing electrical connectors, blue threadlock everything else for ease of removal with hand tools and not engine or road vibrations.
