First of all, it always has to be pate'. That's good news because this product is and also the Alaskan Cod flavor. and all 4 cats love it!!I bought this after doing research on grain free cat food to actually reduce the risk of a urinary tract infection in lieu of higher priced more processed prescription vet food. Little did I know that it would CURE MY OTHER FEMALE CAT FROM THROWING UP! She had been misdiagnosed (apparently) with IBD. Once I started feeding 'all' of them grain free food, my IBD (not) cat immediately stopped throwing up! The proof is always in the pudding, so they say!I always do a lot of research on my own when I have problems I would like to solve and or reduce the risk of. Grain free high quality cat food has at least 30% protein and this brand is a big winner on more ways than one for my '4' felines!I would highly recommend this product to help reduce the risk of urinary tract infections, throwing up, and for the overall better health for your cats. Just be sure to do your homework on the brands so you don't get one that has been linked to feline health issues.
