Does exactly what is says it will do .

Does not work with a 'legacy' Sharp VHS/DVD combi. Poor pic quality and sound from DVDs. NO VISION and very poor sound from VHSs I know the Sharp unit works well via either scart or component on an old TV I have but on contemporary HDMI only LG... forget it. AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

Used for connecting Xbox 360 that didn’t have a HDMI port to HDMI TV. Works well no issues. Fast delivery.

Does the job

I have an old Arcam DVD player that only supports a defunct version of HDMI and cannot upscale, so I use it with an equally old Dell LCD screen with component video inputs. I bought the converter hoping to retire the old screen. When the converter works, it gives a good picture. Disney's Frozen looked great, so did Revenge of the Pink Panther, and about half the films I tried. The rest showed me the copyright screen then went blank, presumably due to the copy protection kicking in. It's a neat little unit, aside from an overly intrusive power light, but mine is back in the box until I really need it.

Works very well at converting XBox 360 images. Have had less success with an old dvd recorder.

The product arrived quickly and works for exactly what I wanted, I used it to connect my xbox to a pc monitor and there have been no problems.

Set it up and watched the screen flicker on and off, checked the connections with a TV that used component and picture was fine and flicker free .

Der Konverter funktioniert einwandfrei, ich kann meine WII nun über Hdmi an einen passenden Fernseher anschließen. Interessanterweise hatte ich kein Bild an meinem OLED 55" 8K. Der Verdacht fiel sofort auf den Konverter. Ich habe den Händler angeschrieben, der mir umgehend Unterstützung angeboten hat. Sehr positiv. Parallel habe ich den Hersteller des Fernsehers angeschrieben, denn ich habe zwischenzeitlich herausgefunden, daß der Konverter ein Signal mit der Auflösung 480p ausgibt. Diese Auflösung kann aber der Fernseher nicht wiedergeben. Der Konverter gibt die Auflösung aus, die am Eingang anliegt. Es handelt sich schließlich um keinen Upscaler. Also alles an einen anderen Fernseher angeschlossen und schon hat es funktioniert.
