Book came as described, and I love being able to own a physical copy of one of my favorite series! The manga-ka developed this series so well. I have read the scanlations, and can't wait to get a printed copy in my hot little fan-girl hands.The development of the relationship between the two main characters is a joy to watch. You can't help rooting for Morinaga's steadfastness and patience to pay off. The door to the sexual relationship is opened with a fairly common yaoi plot device, but what happens afterwards is not so typical. And aside from this initial episode, Morinaga is one of the gentlest, caring, and likable semes out there.One of the things I like best about this story is that the uke is an independent, untamed, MAN, not a girl-substitute or a whimpering man-child. There are times in the course of the story when he has to be the strong one and protect Morinaga. They are equals, and aside from the sexual relationship they have a respect and liking for each other as individuals. Tatsumi's true feelings are obvious to everyone but himself, and you know that when self-awareness finally dawns we (the readers) will be rereading those pages over and over.The artwork is beautiful, and conveys intense passion without being completely graphic. There is also plenty of humor and enough plot to keep things moving. Just a pre-warning, this series is NOT for children and ONLY for an 18+ audience. If you are looking for a cute yaoi without much sex, you may want to start off with the Challengers series (a story that essentially started this one and is about the tyrant's younger brother and his lover). This story has a LOT of sex scenes in it, but even if it didn't the story-line is just too cute. You have Morinaga, a homosexual young man who's studying in college with his Sempai (whom he has completely fallen in love with and has been like this for the past 3 years when you meet him in the first chapter). Granted, the first, second, and third books can be quite frustrating (for those who just want the "tyrant" to admit his own feelings for Morinaga). However, once you get to book 4, the story begins to take off on a journey we all want to see :).
