IMS Competition Precision Filter Basket for La Spaziale 12/18 gr. for Double Espresso

Bought this for my Breville infuser machine. It fits perfect, but you will have to remove some of the top lip in order for it to be used. If you can do that, u you oh will get much better shots then the Breville filter baskets.

Has improved the taste of our espresso

As shown in the first photo, the IMS Filtri web site describes this basket as 15/17 grams, not 12/18 as on Amazon. Further, what was delivered was in an IMS Filtri box, but does not have the brand, model, and country of origin etching as shown in the stock second photo from the listing. Instead, what was shipped is completely unlabeled (photo 3) and has a dull, matte finish.Does it fit in my portafilter and make an espresso. Yes. Is it really an IMS, Made in Italy? I’m not convinced. It’s the only one of four baskets I have acquired that doesn’t have the country of origin right on it (eg Photo 4) and there are what look like two holes that are not completely cut through. MehMy order was fulfilled by Restaurant Equipment Masters, which doesn’t seem to be selling this item any more.

This is my daily basket. I use it with a bottomless PF and it perfectly holds 15g.

I just bought my new espresso machine, and I’ve always used this basket on my older spaziale and just love how it helps on getting a better shot.

This specific model fits 9Barista perfectly and at a better price than on the 9Barista website (still good after the price hike). The basket does produce more crema than the original. Strongly recommend!
