Covergirl Advanced Radiance Age-Defying Foundation Makeup is my favorite and I have been a customer for years. It feels smooth, non-greasy and lightweight on my skin, like there is nothing there. Foundation covers well for me, hydrates and looks nice. For myself Covergirl is a great choice.

I ordered this foundation recently based on other reviews and I really like it. I used Covergirl products a lot in my youth but switched to mineral powder foundation in my 30s (thanks to those persuading infomercials) which I loved at the time (except the price). When I started to develop fine lines around my eyes I found the mineral powder foundation settled into them and made me look older. (I'm now mid 40s). This foundation provides a medium to full coverage (depending on amount used) which I like but still looks natural. It is very creamy, feels light, and does not settle into my fine lines. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing makeup. I ordered two shades, soft honey and classic ivory (based on what was available on Amazon at the time) and blend the two to match my skin tone, which it does perfectly. I saw online that when trying to decide between a lighter or darker foundation to go with the darker one so I figured I could experiment with what works best for me. The classic ivory alone would be too light for my light to medium skin tone. The two blend perfectly with my skin tone and there are no "orange-ish" (aka oompa loompa) tones whatsoever. If you're unsure about the shades, I recommend going to the Covergirl website, the shades displayed there seem to show the true color more than on Amazon. I also like the bottle, how it dispenses the product and being able to see how much is left. I use Covergirl Advanced Radiance pressed powder sparingly to set it. It lasts all day with maybe a light touch up with powder occasionally. It does not leave a makeup residue when using my phone, yet washes off easily. Will continue using this product. UPDATE: 9/17/2014 I just wanted to add to my 5 star review of this product. I just now opened a second bottle of this Covergirl foundation. I purchased my 1st bottle in April and to just now be on my second bottle, I am SO IMPRESSED that the product lasted me that long and I wear makeup every single day. I'm still on my 1st bottle of the darker foundation that I purchased at the same time (I mix with the lighter color). I bought my second bottle at Walmart as it was cheaper, but still what a great buy to have a product that delivers quality and value.

I have not used any other foundation than this one since 2007. It’s the perfect level of coverage, doesn’t cake, isn’t oily, isn’t dry and feels good after wearing all day. I hope it is never discontinued. The color is perfect for my skin and so is the formula. I’m 67 with dry skin. I seal it with Cover Girl powder and use a slight shimmery powder on my nose and cheeks.

I was genuinely shocked by how much I love this foundation. From the moment I applied it, I could tell this was something special. It blends effortlessly into the skin, absorbs beautifully, and feels incredibly moisturizing without being heavy or sticky. One thing that immediately stood out is the scent. We all know most foundations just smell like… makeup. This one actually has a pleasant, subtle fragrance—clean and fresh—which I’m guessing comes from the added sunscreen. It’s not overpowering at all, just really nice. I have a fair complexion, and this foundation matches my skin tone so well. No orange, no muddy brown tones—definitely no Oompa Loompa effect. When you first apply it, it feels like it might be thick, but once you smooth it out across your face, it feels lightweight and almost like you’re wearing nothing at all. That part truly surprised me. What really blew me away is how this compares to higher-end foundations I’ve used—Too Faced (Born This Way), Clinique, Urban Decay, and even Milani. Honestly? This outperforms them for me. The price-to-quality ratio is incredible, and I wasn’t expecting that at all given how affordable it is. It also works amazingly well for sensitive skin. I usually experience small breakouts after wearing foundation, even after washing it off, but I had no irritation or breakouts with this one. My skin actually feels better wearing it. While I can’t scientifically prove the age-defying claims, I trust the CoverGirl + Olay combo, and my skin looks smooth, healthy, and radiant when I wear it. It’s also very easy to apply, whether you’re using fingers, a sponge, or a brush. The packaging is simple—not particularly cute—but honestly, I’d rather have basic packaging and an amazing product than the other way around. Bottom line: this is now my go-to foundation. Natural-looking, lightweight, moisturizing, great for sensitive skin, and an unbeatable value. I will absolutely continue buying this and recommend it without hesitation.

I bought this foundation on a whim after watching beauty guru Jessica Braun's video where she has declared this foundation mixed with Missha's BB cream her "holy grail". We have similar shades so I purchased her shades and they go on absolutely beautifully. The foundation has a beautiful finish - satin like - and lasts all day. During the pandemic time, it isn't rubbing off onto my mask like the Maybelline Fit Me I was wearing prior. It also helps even out my skin tone while still showing through freckles and feeling like "me". Between the two products I spent $25 (half of what I would spend on "high end") and I honestly like it more. Do yourself a favor and try both products! 5/5 and definitely recommend.
