I've been looking for good sharp shears to trim my hair at home to keep split ends at bay. These do get the job done. However I did experience a few problems. These are sharp but not all the way through the blades. Upon clear inspection I saw little scratches down the blade and there's a small space between the blades when look from the top, which could be affecting the perfomance. Also when I was cutting my hair the shears made weird noises (hard to explain but I can only describe it as when paper gets stuck between blades of dull scissors, which could be my hair getting stuck in some parts of the blade). Also my fingers were sore after 5 mins, not the most comfortable grip.Update: The people at Rough Stache were kind enough to contact me and offer full refund. Impressed by how they care for their customers and their satisfaction. Would not hesitate to shop with them again. ### ⭐ Unfortunately, it's Made in China (listing description says 'Japanese steel' - this is a lie) *by O***T on Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2020* The scissors arrived today. The white label on the back of the black box says "Made in China." This is just another unfortunate example of Chinese products trying to mislead consumers to think that they are from somewhere else.As for this product itself, I can tell that it's not going to last long. The joint that holds the two pieces together isn't very well made - it has just arrived today and there is a minor wobble already. I value this product at $15 and I would not recommend anyone to pay more than $15 for this.If you want quality barber scissors, the search term you will want to use is "German barber scissors" or "Japanese barber scissors."
