Review: My favorite book about writing in either genre! - I have read this book from cover to cover many times over now, and I have used the techniques myself when I have worked as a writer for sketch comedy and panel shows in Norway. And the tips and tricks are definitely indispensable when working in that format! But what I have found most interresting is that I have found myself using many of the tecniques in other genres and texts also. So it is definitely a book worth checking out if you wanna learn how to write humour and any other kind of text or dialogue that has an unique and interresting spin to it. Review: Nice read - Long but useful

for would be TV writers.,tricks of the trade, a very useful guide.
Excellent book for wannabe screenwriters, especially for wannabe TV writers. Nuts and bolts stuff, practical advice with real world examples.varied quality, because different sections are written by different experts, but all are professionals with track records in getting pilots made, or series produced. Recommended!

A must read for anyone interested in the writing process for TV The last few chapters has you visualising pitching your idea. It got me focused and now writing a TV show is more than a thought. I’m ready to take action and follow this book and take the UCLA certificate class. This book is exactly what I needed

This is a fun, quick read that provides a realistic yet inspirational perspective on the business of writing for television. It is not a detailed a "how to" book but a series of "here's what it takes" essays written by experienced industry pros who also teach at the UCLA Extension Writers Program.

Ein bißchen zuviel "breaking into the business bla bla", aber wenn man sich da durchgearbeitet hat, gibt es auch noch ein paar Interessante Passagen, für "Nicht-Neulinge".
