Bought multiple items. They always come in good shape.
Exactly as advertised. This is my fourth purchase from Costa Farms. They do a really good job with the packaging most of the time it’s 99.99% intact if not 100% intact. Delivery is quick because we live in the same state. And have nothing negative to say. The plant came healthy. Looks great and exactly like the picture size. All the purchases come exactly as advertisement and described. The packaging is very simple, open at the top, rip on the side take your plant out and you’re done. Update: I uploaded images of 5 feet fiddle leaf versions. I was going to do a separate review but it doesn’t allow me because it’s the same product different size. Both of them came in healthy. I was a little worried at the beginning because I missed a delivery by mistake. So they were held two days extra instead of two days delivery so that was a total four days they were packaged perfectly. Luckily, they had no damage on them. Letting them soak outside in the water/sun for a bit before repotting and bringing them and door. UPDATE: 2/5/2024 Everything in the review still holds true the only thing I would be a little bit careful for that one of the trees that are 5 feet came in more leaning on the right side, than directly growing in the center so what happened is that the roots and everything was very well established, except the was only one branch growing directly in the center, while the other five were going directly on the right side, making a tilt over. This is not the fault of the grower. It was just grown that way and probably nobody noticed it. It wasn't noticeable inside the box, but once taken out and watered and let it spread out a little bit. I would not be able to be put inside of a vase for indoors, (I tried) since it would lean on the 4 o'clock angle versus straight. I could have straighten it by force by tying it down/stake but the tree is very well developed with a lot of leaves it's pretty much already set in stone. I didn't want to return it because it would be too clumsy and I had no room for it outdoors. Luckily, Amazon customer support was helpful and they gave me a refund. Totally unexpected. Like I said, this is probably a fluke every other item bought by coastal Farm came in perfectly. I would be a little bit more careful for the larger trees like these you would probably want to contact them and ask them to specifically look from one that's more straight in the center.

I want new plant or a refund
ordered this as a gift on 12/16/2025 and it got here beautiful, intact and well packaged on 12/22/2025. We had unseasonably warm sunny weather with highs in the upper 70’s so I carefully placed it on the deck for the afternoon sun for a few hours about 3 days in a row . I noticed the first day most of the leaves had liquid fertilizer residual ( like miracle grow maybe) The 3rd day of warm sunshine I completely removed the brown wrapper The leaves looked and felt dry so the next day I gently used a lukewarm damp cloth in attempt to remove some of the bright green fertilizer residual. The topsoil under the plastic wrap was dry so I gave it a 1/2 cup drink of water as directed. I was so worried that I would not be able to keep this plant alive until my son’s girlfriend got here. I’ve never had a green thumb so they scare me a little. And My black thumb did not disappoint. I checked on the plant this morning which has been living in a warm room west facing room and BOOM ! Dead leaves everywhere and it looks like it would go great at the Addams Family’s or The Munsters house. Soooo very disappointed because I was so careful. My son and GF will be here tomorrow and I just want to trash the whole thing. No more plants For me. Spent way too much money over the years without zero luck.

Bushy
It’s beautiful and very full but mine has like 5 stems on it and 2 of them seem like they could be the main stem. It was also leaning quit a bit so I had to stake it. I was hoping just for a one stem fig. I guess I’ll have to cut the others and try to propagate. Not sure. First fiddle leaf fig I’ve had.

Five years later...from 1 star to 5
Original review: I think mine is dying. The plant never looked good since the day I received it. It has lost over twenty leaves since. The soil doesn't retain any water at all; whatever watered came right out. The plant is light like a feather even after it's just watered. ************* Update after 5 years: The above is my original review from 5 years ago when I gave it 1 star. I came across this review just now and saw that I purchased the plant 5 years ago. Five years later, my plant is thriving. It's now about 6 feet tall, full of big beautiful leaves. It went through a couple years with hardly any growth, meaning it didn't die but no new leaves at all in two years. I then fertilized it with plant food specifically for Fiddle Leaf plant and I got one round of new leaves, and it stopped growing again. Very disappointing. I then fertilized it again but it no longer helped. Then, in preparation for a long vacation last year, I inserted two self-watering spikes into the soil and hooked them up to two gallon-size water bottles. Since then, it's grown more than a couple feet in just about a year!!! Non-stop big beautiful leaves. The plant drinks like a fish. I'm still using the spikes to water the plant. I just fill the water bottles regularly and frequently. Just to be clear, the watering spikes are those with a tube connected to a water source and the water source(bottles) sits on the floor. I also repotted the plant to a slightly larger pot almost immediately five years ago and the plant has been sitting near a sunny window. But the key for it to grow is a continuous supply of water!

Great buy
I am so impressed at how well packaged and perfect my plant was. It is still healthy! The box was smashed on one end when it arrived but my plant was not. I will definitely buy from this company again. Their plants are also affordable

Meh
This fiddle leaf fig. I was so excited when I opened the box and saw this huge bushy little tree. However, after just a few days quite a few of the leaves started turning brown. I removed the tree from the pot and inspected the roots and they looked in great condition. Over watered, under watered, I simply couldn’t figure out if it was either of these issues or a bacterial or fungal infection, or was it that she just got too cold during shipping. I gave her a nice spritz of water with some essential oils, watered her with them too, and she’s been sitting in a brightly lit spot with a humidifier on her for the last 4 days and I removed the leaves that had the most brown spots on them. She seems to be doing pretty good for now and I’m hopeful that she’ll survive, she just wasn’t in ideal shape. UPDATE: This plant just continues to decline. I’ve clipped 2 of the tops of the 5 stems that this plant came with that still looked ok in hopes of propagating them to salvage something. I’ll continue to try to nurse the rest of the plant but I don’t think the chances of this plant making it are very good. Update on the update... I’ve added a few new pictures. After A LOT of tender care, repotting, finding the right spot for her, severe pruning, she’s been able to focus her attention on new HEALTHY growth. One of the two clippings I took to try to propagate has just finally started getting roots! So I gave this plant back one of its stars. If you’re willing to work diligently to save a sick plant, I’d say purchasing is worth a gamble. Does she look great? Absolutely not, but she’s a part of my plant family and she proved me wrong by pulling through.
