My 4 year old can open them easily to take her clothes but not the 18 month old one who before was using the drawers to climb up on the dresser. Out of all the different types of child safety locks we've purchased so far, these have been the best. They feel secure and keep drawers closed completely with NO room for little fingers to get caught in the openings. Great product!
