One of the best oil filters out there.
It is hard to know what's good and what's not, so I relied on the info from a few websites and it seems this is at the top of the heap in a numbers of areas: filtering ability, hot and low oil temp flow rates, and capacity for contaminants. Will continue to use until something better comes along!

Don't believe the negative reviews. I think negative reviews are to damage this brand from other brand supporters. This is a top quality filter. I cut this filter open and it's built like a tank. Almost impossible to tear the filtering media apart. Tests prove this is one of the best filters at filtering debris and holding capacity.With people that mention about leaks, they are caused by not oiling the gasket before installing. Lack of oil will cause it to bunch up and leak.

Puro 1 Odor
I purchased Purolator One and Purolator Boss and received both yesterday. Both were purchased at the same time from the same seller (Purolator Store) and both were del at the same time however they came in 2 separate packages. The Purolator One box looked used and the filter reaped of a strong odor yet the Boss had no such odor. I'm curious to know the reason for the strong odor ?

Good experience.
I use these on a Scag Turf Tiger. I bought 3 since they were a good price but one was missing a gasket so always check if you buy more than one. It didn't look like it had been opened or returned, just missed at the factory somehow.I submitted the issue to Amazon and a replacement was sent quickly.

My husband has many machines for our way to large property. He maintains these himself. What a pain when local stores don't have any filters in stock. So, me and Amazon to the rescue! Mine came in a box
Not sure why others didn't, but mine came in boxes. Good quality filters, came in excellent condition. Shipper brought them to the wrong address though, that was annoying but no bearing on the quality of the product.

thw filter is use . . this is a scam . it will be reurn . sonmeone cleane it with gasoline . it still smell like it . dont huy it . it will be return box open too . a desaster .
