Yes I didn't use it yet with 16-19 sheets, and no I didn't need confetti(!) but overall we are all very satisfied with it. It's dangerously top-heavy and could easily tip over. Plus, it doesn't shred very well. I tried to run 15 pages of 22 lb copy paper through it, and it simply couldn't handle it.
