I have suffered with IBS-D for 35 years. I was put on Imodium by my doctor in 1982. They worked great for about 10-15 years but weakened. I am still currently taking 3 Imodiums when I get up along with 2 Earth's Pearls and to be honest, I have never had the symptoms of IBS-D since, I spent so much money on probiotics and "cures" and they failed me every time. I saw the Earth's Pearls probiotics with prebiotics browsing on Amazon and thought I'd give it one more shot as I was desperate for help. Score!! I started taking 3 a day, all at once, which was a bit too much just starting out on them and my stomach hurt a bit. I am still on 3 Imodium when I get up of the morning with the 2 Pearls. I didn't have one bit of trouble swallowing them, (not much bigger than a pea) I took them with a sip of warm coffee, went straight down, (you may prefer water, but I don't like water). They are tiny but they pack a powerful punch for my IBS-D. I have been eating anything and everything and have not had any stomach issues with my IBS-D like before. Finally, I found a solution to what was making me a prisoner in my own home for the last 10++ years basically. I get out and go to flea markets, auctions, places I had loved going before this terrible IBS came on. In closing, if you have IBS-D, I would suggest you try these, everyone isn't the same, I am speaking on my own results I'm finally free thanks to Earth's Pearl Probiotics and I couldn't be more thankful!! By the way, I did not get paid nor a free product for my review. It is honest regardless of what others say about the reviews being fake, I know what works and what don't. I would not sit here and take the time to bother leaving this long review if they didn't work for me and trying to help others suffering from IBS-D. I had fallen into a deep depression over my IBS-D ,(YES, IT WAS THAT BAD) and had to be put on antidepressants , I had NO desire to be living this "So called LIFE, I pulled my curtains shut, didn't answer the phone, cried every day to no end, it's like a huge dark pit you can't climb out of, no desire to go outside, nor eat, I fell to 90 lbs. in 3 weeks from 125 lbs. with Depression caused by IBS-D, keeping me locked up inside the house. I wasn't sure this product was working for a long time to be honest so I didn't use it for a month and skipped my subscription. My subscription sent it and I was like well I have it, might as well use it. Well, let me tell you I didn't realize how backed up I was until I took this. I took it in the morning on Thursday and on Friday morning, it had cleaned out the entirety of my intestinal tract no joke. I had a little constipation which I didn't realize I had until I took that. I am now a firm believer in this product. Lost probably 5 lbs that had just been hanging out in my gut. Feel like a new person haha!

Details relevant to readers: each one is a small spherical pressed pill, maybe the size of a fat pea, or 2/3 the volume of an edamame bean. it's ever so slightly gritty but i find it very easy to swallow. i much prefer this experience to any other probiotic ive taken. most are much larger, and some are in those gelatin caps. this is very convenient and apparently effective. i need to be more consistent with these :) What I noticed: i was on antibiotics three times in three months last fall, so i messed up my biome big time. on top of that, i have celiac disease so my gut is never actually happy. i seek out fermented foods and prebiotic plants, but it's not enough. my issues can cause weird things like canker sores, which i now get pretty easily. it seems like theres always something painful happening in my mouth between gluten exposure and my permanent retainer. anyway, i take this from time to time but today i was in particular pain after a few days of a sore in my mouth. i finally remembered that i had these and that ive heard multiple people talk about probiotics helping their canker sores. i took one and i kid you not, the pain was gone within five minutes. the sore is still slightly tender, but it is so much less painful that it feels mostly healed. i only swallowed the pill, but ive heard others have success making a paste out of them and rinsing their mouth with it. i have no idea what causes my mouth to do this that can be fixed by helpful bacteria, but i'm convinced

I bought this because it is more of a slow release probiotic which is hard to find, and to stabilize my system. Severe stress in my life brought on a candida battle I never thought was even possible. My immune system suffered as well, resulting in poor healing and yeast overgrowth, I even had thrush at one point. I got the yeast overgrowth in control to some extent by changing my diet a long time ago, but internally I knew there was still a battle going on. And because my immune system was weak and I work a lot outside, I had little cuts and scrapes from working that would not heal, and then a BV infection as well forced me on an antibiotic. I knew what that would do. and I didn't want even more of a candida overgrowth to deal with while on this med, I can say my gut has had one mean nasty battle for the last four days with candida die off, which is a good thing. The intent of this product for me was to keep that nasty gut stuff in check or eliminate it so the antibiotic could work to heal for the immediate course required. I've taken the three pills per day during this, three hours after I take the antibiotic or three hours before to give it time to release into my system, good stuff in the gut fighting the candida and killing it off, yeast loves antibiotics so yeah, I can feel it. I have three more day on this antibiotic, and I am already healing do to that medication, however I can also tell the candida is dying off and I am have healing results from that as well. I'm happy. .

your gut bacteria MUST in balance or life can be rather miserable. These folks appear to have a very good answer here. I started out taking one a day for a week or so— worked well enough that I now take 2 a week to maintain a happy gut. Couldn’t be more satisfied with Pearls!!

A few months ago I found a bottle of nutrafol’s “hairbiotic” booster that I got for free a bit ago but had forgotten about. The difference in my hair was Insane. Within a week I was kinda questioning if my hair had improved already, and by 2 weeks I noticed a definite difference. I thought it was because of the recent changes I’d made in my hair care routine around the same time as I started those “hairbiotics”, but I’ve continued my routine without the hairbiotics (because like I said it was a sample) and I know now that it wasn’t solely my routine that changed my hair. So I’ve been looking for alternatives.. nutrafol is expensive, and in order to buy their boosters, you have to order their hair vitamins, which… well, I dont. So I looked around at probiotics that seemed similar enough to the formula of nutrafols, and this was about as close as I got. It’s been maybe 6 weeks now, and nothing. Absolutely nothing.. at least nothing noticeable. Maybe when I run out of these in a few weeks I’ll start seeing the progress I didn’t know I’d made start reversing and I can come back and update my review. We’ll see! I do actually hope that’s the case. And I don’t like that I had to leave a 3 star review. But I think I just might have to suck it up and pay the price for nutrafol. That or try to start making my own

My wife was about to go on a series of Antibiotic treatments for a chronic infection and her doctor told her to buy "some probiotics to begin consumming 5 days before you begin the antibiotics" and so we read up on it and asked around. He told her eating yogurt would do the job of protecting her gut flora but man, was he wrong! Most Probiotics and Prebiotics we consume are either dead before we even swallow them due to Pasturization such as yogurt or cultured non-dairy products or worse, you pay for ovules or pearls that don't survive the stomach acid and never reach the GUT anway. Whatta waste of money! We invested about 20 hours of research in this, more than most people invest in buying a car and we settled on this brand due to its customer reviews reporting their own repeat purchases AND the advice of a registered diabetic educator. We started with just ONE bottle. My wife has chronic irritable Bowel Syndrome w/diarrhea. (it had to be said). Her hope was that using this product would get the proper GOOD bacteria delivered to her intestines and bowels and prevent her from having her IBS W/D get worse. Well, it helped..A LOT. In fact, at the end of 3 weeks, she felt less pain, had great relief from her IBS and started to be able to sleep better. That may sound like chump change but it isn't if you have ever known someone in so much pain from the cramping, bloating and sensations of urgent need to visit the bathroom that they are afraid to leave the house without a change of clothes, disposable underwear, wipes and more. I can't say she's cured but Now that she's been taking this daily ( at least 2 a day, sometimes more) she is more comfortable and having less severe reactions to minor changes in her diet. She still follows the Anti-Inflammatory Food Plan recommended by some doctors for IBS and Crohn's patients but believe this particular probiotic formula with it'sn unique pearl design, is helping her very much. Maybe she could describe it better but I can see the change in her. Since her IBS is part of a larger inherited disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, one product will never 'Cure" her. However, it DOES alleviate some of the more unpleasant symptoms such as bloating, gas, intestinal pain, cramping and so forth. The one warning I DO have to give is that the pills are VERY SMALL and you should be careful when you take them. Take them one at a time, even if you take 2 at the same time of day. Always take with water since one can easily inhale one of these little pearls. it's also possible to go to pour one out and have a bunch come tumbling out into your hand and flying all over the place. We avoid this by pouring them from the bottle into a sterile med cup and then putting her daily doses in with her other supplements in a weekly pill dispenser. I'm not taking a star off for that because with very minimal effort and being forewarned, you can manage this without much of a problem. Finally, do look at the Label photo above and note that there are 5 different strains of PRO-Biotic and 1 strain of PRE-Biotic. The amounts in this product exceed most of the brands you can find at the grocery or drug store. 1 Bottle lasts my wife about a month and when you break it down, $22 that works out to about 73 Cents a day. For her, it's worth it. She is trying to avoid contracting C-Diff, prevent Thrush and relieve the more painful symptoms of her IBS. No other supplement of drug has helped her as much as this has. The proof is our continued purchases. Now, everyone has their own reactions so I can't say this will do for YOU what it's done for my wife. However, give it 1 or 2 bottles. It's not a huge amount to spend.
