No soybean or seed oils :)
Truly ORGANIC product. JUST FYI- Seed oils (canola = rapeseed) are extracted with hexane. Hexane is highly toxic. For some reason USDA has been overlooking ‘sunflower oil’ and labeling it organic. There is no such thing as sunflower oil. When’s the last time you squeezed a sunflower and got oil—oil enough for just a 1 kilo batch size? Pffst! It’s a product derived from the SEED being purposefully mislabeled. “Gimme” brand seaweed admitted to me personally that they use the seed oil. Don’t be fooled. SANDCASTLE SEAWEED IS THE REAL DEAL. THEY USE ORGANIC OLIVE OIL. THANK YOU FOR YOUR DUE DILIGENCE and moral ethics. I LOVE THIS ALGAE! FINALLY a product that uses olive oil! This is a very clean product. The slices of seaweed are large. Salt is adequate and they are simply delicious! Little messy but yum! I’d give this 10stars if I could! There’s a reason everything else is cheap. This is worth the price

Delicious
Glad to find a seaweed snack that is made with olive oil- not sunflower (I'm allergic). Tasty, salty- like eating whispy chips for those of us who are allergic to potatoes. But remember they are seaweed, so there's that flavor.

Healthy Snack. No too salty, does not contain sunflower oil. Tastes healthy too!

It's toasted weed
This is the only brand of seaweed snacks I could find without seed oils. So good job on that. The flavor and crunch is good, but there's just way too much salt. Even salt-loving me would find himself rubbing excess salt off with his hands. You might as well make some yourselves, and save on all that plastic packaging.

Arrived rancid
These were highly recommended because they did not use seed oil. The product arrived rancid and the stale oil smell was present even before eating. I tested two in my package and the result was the same.

the oil used has a better taste than most seaweed snacks, but they put way, way too much salt!
