**Q: Really love  the fruit but wondering if the fruit is washed before drying to remove pesticides off of the plums, apricots, peaches...?**
A: Yes, all our fruit is washed before it’s packed. Also, the fruit is not peeled, but many of our fruits are halves. Thank you.

**Q: Does it come with the seed?**
A: I HAVE NOT ORDERED THIS, BUT DATES COMES WITH THE PIT.

**Q: What is the difference between these and other prunes?**
A: Dried plums are prunes. Prune is the name for dried plums. So by saying dried plums they are just trying to remove the nasty connotations many people have for the name prune.

**Q: Why do you add sulfur dioxide? That ruins it as a healthy option.**
A: as far as I know the added sulfer dioxide preserves freshness & keeps the fruit from drying up into brown stiff items. I have eaten dried fruit for years & have never suffered any ill effects..yes..agree it is less healthy. Maybe you can buy locally at the actual place where fruit is picked. we can do that where I live.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quite different from prunes

I haven't bothered purchasing "dried plums" before because I figured the word for a dried plum is a prune, so what's the point? Well, these are different indeed. They are large, "drier", more chewy and fibrous, and have a milder flavor. Honestly, I prefer the prunes myself, these are a bit fig-like in consistency, but these are still interesting and nice to mix up the rotation. Other family members who specifically do not like how soft and sticky prunes can become, especially if you don't refrigerate them after opening, found these more appealing. If prunes are a bit to sweet or the flavor is a bit too strong, these again might be an interesting alternative. I probably wouldn't order these regularly, though I might order them again in a year or two. If you like dried fruit, I'd recommend giving them a try, whether you like prunes or not.
