I teach at the elementary level in a pull-out, push-in setting and there was still a lot of good ideas in here for me. I particularly liked the description of the classroom routines and how they use lists of sentences about a topic (called Text Sets) to have students categorize and think about the topics. The categorized digital resources are worth the price of admission. Yes, Larry Ferlazzo has many of these on his website and, yes, some of the links just refer you there. It's the world's go-to for curated lists of sites for ELLs. I like that the book only lists a few of the best for each category. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a helpful supplementary guide in the classroom *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2013* This book is potentially a career-saver for me. I am a teacher of ELL students in Taiwan, transitioning from year one to year two. Coming out of my first year, I have reflected on what I did well and what I could do better. The former, too little...the latter, too much. I returned to the U.S. for two weeks and brought back books similar to this one.
