It is the same type of plump softness effect that I get after I apply a hyaluronic acid facial mask, except that facial mask's effects only last for a short while. What I like is the packaging of the bottle. The dropper helps control how much serum I want to dispense. The serum itself is clear, not sticky at all and absorbs into the skin quickly. There is a very light citrus scent when you first apply but it does not linger. I apply this twice a day after I cleanse and apply toner to my face. I use about 5-6 drops on my entire face each time.The main reason I bought this serum was to incorporate vitamin C into my skincare routine to help brighten my face and help fade discolorations left from old blemishes. I hav e combination oily skin. But after using this, I haven’t seen any more dry flaky patches on my face. Nor do I get as oily in my t-zone area as before throughout the day. As for the brown marks left by past breakouts, they have lightened up, but I also use glycolic, retinol, and niacinimide as part of my regimen too. Another thing I have noticed is that my face is considerably brighter than my neck. I apply a different hyaluronic acid serum to my neck that doesn't have vitamin C in it. Been sick all winter with sick kids and no sleep had really messed up my face. Breaking out bad and horribly dry despite using Ole Henriksen products,paulas choice and first aid beauty moisturizer.For under $11 bucks couldnt resist. After the first night I noticed a difference. My face was brighter,more even and much more moisturized. My breakouts were also smaller and less red. After the 2nd day my face was even better and already lightning some of my dark spots from recently breaking out.Skin even clearer. I only got this on the 4th but i've used 4 times and I love it. I'm using on my entire face and neck.Works great under make-up no problem. I use a moisturizer over it.I like it better than my Ole truth serum :) It dosnt seem like much when you open it,smells like clean roses,but works wonders.Fyi my breakouts were the cystic kind and thats what it's clearing up.
