80% success with seeds sprouting indoors, the first two leaves will fall off as new stalks start to grow. Now waiting for warmer weather to plant them outside. They are very slow to start, glad I read the reviews and started them 6 weeks ago as advised.

Apparently (Sarah Raven advice) these seeds are ones that should be planted early before 14 February, probably because how long they take to germinate, so they are ready to plant outside after the final frosts. I read up about these, partly because there are no growing instructions included but also to gain some knowledge, I have been gardening so many years and accept that I can have tremendous successes and complete failures with growing from seeds. I soaked mine overnight before planting, stuck them in compost vertically (thin edge down) and covered thinly with compost. Popped them on a warm window cill. It look them 3 weeks to germinate and I now have 5 out of the 6 seeds I sowed looking healthy and growing well. Very happy and hope that they continue thrive.

Unfortunately small packet of 15 seeds arrived without any instructions. I have garland electric propagator which I have reviewed in another section (5 stars btw) and planted all 15 seeds using economy brand potting mix. I split 15 seeds between 2 pods and left in my electric propagator to germinate. For about 10 day absolutely nothing happened but then small sprouts started to pop up and on day 14 - small sprouts really started to grow and you can see the growth on the photo below. The pic is day 14 from seeding in electric propagator. 8 out of 15 seeds germinated. If you are using non electric propagator - germination time will be muc longer. Happy plantingUpdate from 03 May 2016 - 4 more seeds sprouted making it 12 out of 15. I think it is a very good result - I would definitely buy it again.

Sowed 12 seeds and now have 11 healthy seedlings, I can’t believe how much they grow in one day! Very happy

As I have not grown these seeds yet it is difficult to say very much, but all I can say is the seeds arrived speedily in good condition. Thank you!

Planted six seeds. All six germinated and the growth has been steady. The plants are very healthy.
