While I could have just taken a frugal approach by replacing the pins with screws, I decided to check out the mailbox market to see what was available.A trip to my local home store was enlightening. There were several options available of varying sizes, construction, and price. This model, while on display, was not available - nor could the staff determine the cost (nor provide me a "demo discount"). I was fixated on this model given the construction and size. It was ten times more robust and better constructed than the contractor grade model I previously had.The purchase from Amazon was fast and efficient as usual. Installation took about 15 minutes. I was just as impressed with the look and feel of it in real life as I was in the store. From the size that can take modest size packages to smooth operating door with the magnetic catch it's one quality unit! In a weird way, it made getting my mail "fun" again. My wife agrees and even my neighbor has commented favorably.Needless to say, I heartily recommend this mailbox! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Is there a better way to spend 6 hours? Expectations that were not met due to the damn thing not being put together by 6 when he got home. Every. Single. Piece. Is. Separate. That's not even the worst part of building this keeper of goods. The door will not latch if Every. Single. Piece. Is not pushed into the black disks of death exactly the same distance. This lead to doing a tire flip with a shelving unit through my house and hanging on each of these black disks of death. Which is painful. But I'm 150lbs and this thing didn't break. For 4 stars for being all around awesome. In the storage room the wooden shelves are strong but I don't want the books exposed and getting dirty. This cube is the perfect solution. It doesn't smell, and pretty much kept my books protected from the dust. I have two cubes side by side connected/grouped as one unit. But this product is designed to connect 16 cubes as one unit so I need more connectors for my project. Unicoo has been very helpful to send me additional parts which I appreciate very much. Then I bought the 2nd set. If you need storage to put away lighter weight stuff (books will be too heavy for such design) , this is a good solution. I highly recommend this product. Good solid material and easy to put them together, the service is excellent.
