Stays on all night but I got one for my daughter and it doesn’t stay

I have been looking for this durag forever!! I’ve owned this brand for years at my parents house. I ended up taking it with me home the moment I had a chance too. I tried to lookup thick full coverage durags to replace it just in case. All of them fell short being see through, thin, and falling off easy even when just tying them! Just lacking structure for an actual head and hair. So glad I had I still had the tag intact. Although the material is slightly thinner than the original one I own, it still has the same design being large enough to fit and stay on all night. It only comes off when I remove it guaranteed. The material far out wins the other brands even with the change. Buy this product and no more unnecessary before bed stress.

I thought this was a plain regular satin scarf. It has a cap with long string. My goal was to slick my Grey hair down with gel. Tie my hair up and add an afro puff ponytail. The sides and back are flat. At the top of the cap is a little space.

I was so excited to get this Evolve Satin Wrap Scarf (Black) I thought I was about to be living my best satin-wrapped hair life. 😂 But let me tell you… what arrived was NOT what I expected. First of all , gross warning , it was USED when I opened the package. There was actual nappy hair stuck to it! I’m not kidding. 🤢 Needless to say I nearly dropped it like a hot potato. The idea behind it , a satin wrap to prevent frizz and breakage while you ,— sounds nice enough, and a lot of people do say satin scarves can help protect hair if worn correctly. But this one showed up looking like it had already been on someone’s head for a week. I’d give this one a pass unless you want a free mystery hair souvenir with your purchase. 👀

I felt the need to write a review because I have straight hair and for the last few months, it has been static and dry. I'd wake up with my hair tangled and messy. I tried changing shampoo and conditioners. Then I saw an ad on IG for a silk scarf but it was pricey. I ordered this one because the reviews were good and it was inexpensive. I did wash it right away after I received it. A little tag came with it instructing you to do so. It is a game changer. My hair has never looked healthier and soft. I tie on the back first and then go around the front and tie again so it won't fall out. I move a lot when I sleep. My daughter who has beautiful hair said ok, where is mine? I am ordering one for her.

It is so bad, my husband said it looked like an executioner's head gear. No design thinking whatsoever and it's non-returnable. Save yourself the trouble and just use a satin scarf instead.

Very silky and sits in place even after I have a night of sleep.

It fades and stains my satin pillow with black patches. Does not help to retain any moisture in my hair infact since I started using this my hair feels more dry. Only good thing about it is that it stays on at night. I tried sleeping with it on my head after i moisturized and put my hair in twists and the next day i woke up with my satin pillow saturated with product and my hair feeling dry as if all the moisture was sucked out of my hair. Not good on 4C hair, i do not recommend this to anyone. Buy at your own risk, it may feel nice on and does prevent breakage but it sucks up all that moisture and stains pillowcases. When you wash it, expect a lot of black dye to come out and maybe all those dye chemicals are the ones contributing to the fabric being so poor. Im higly dissapointed in this purchase. I bought it only because of the positive reviews i saw but the negative ones coincide with my experience so be weary if you are a girl with 4C hair this ain it hunnay👎🏽
