Just what I needed: A very sturdy ash box. I'm new to wood burners and required an ash box. Having looked at lots and lots online and viewed in shop too, I thought I would take a chance on this one. So glad I did,It seemed too large at first, but what will hold a lot will hold a little. No fear of not being able to get the ashtray from the fire into this box without spilling. Will hold several days of ash too before emptying. Very good value for money.

I had a staggered order, for three of these, they are the only suitable size, and material container I could find to store eBike batteries! The apartment is safer.

This item has made clearing out the ashes from our stove so much easier. There is now no stray ash as it is all contained in the box.The box is well made and easy to use. It is certainly well worth the money.

Arrived dented but managed to straighten it out to avoid returning item. Lid tends to fall off and has to be clipped back. Really useful item but construction a bit tacky.

I needed something to empty my burner's ashes into because I'm using it more often for heating and they're not generally cold enough to go straight into the bin of a morning. Even when cool enough I make a mess by trying to empty them into a bag to take out to the main bin, ashes everywhere and a grumpy me.I only meant to have a look but when I saw this and the very good price I ordered it straight away to give it a go as there were good reviews on all of the ones for sale, this being the cheapest.I don't think I was expecting much to be honest given that it was under £18 but I'm honestly impressed at how big and well made this ash bin is.It's had its first use this morning and totally does the job I needed it for with minimal mess.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this or the seller because it really is good quality and arrived quickly even though it wasn't offered on prime.Not often you get something that does exactly what it is supposed to do and comes with a decent price tag! Happy days

This ash box makes life easier when I clean the fireplace every morning. It contains the ashes well when taking the ash pan outside, but more importantly, it greatly reduces the risk of hot ashes falling on our rug or furniture while walking to the door.What a load off my mind, as this was a stress point every morning; problem solved.The construction is stainles steel, but the front lid hinge pins may not be; it shows some rust starting. So, those pins may need to be replaced in the future. But all good besides that.Highly recommended. Would buy this again.
