Eagle Eyes GM308-B100R GMC Passenger Side Fog Lamp

The lights are still going after 6 years. The reflectors are still good. However, the lenses, while not leaking water have deteriorated to the point where cleaning them is now no longer able to clear them up. The only other problem I have had is that on rough pavement - the mounts shake and cause the beam pattern to 'flutter'. On occasion it becomes an issue when the vibrations kill the filament in the bulbs. Still, considering the OEM units are in the 'you're joking' price range, these have done very well for the price paid.

The fog lamp installed perfectly using the factory hardware from the previous lamp. My application was a 2005 GMC Yukon and the dealer admits that certain years had a problem with the lenses falling off of the factory fog lamps. I have now replaced both sides with aftermarket lamps and have not had any further problems.The Eagle Eyes lamp is well built and the adjustment bolt and nut are thicker and stronger than the factory unit. Because of the environment this lamp will live out its days in, I would recommend applying thread-lock or a silicone lubricant on the adjustment-bolt threads to prevent oxidation. Once this oxidizes, you will break it.My only complaint is against the bulb included with the Lamp. The lamp wants to be bright and has a great spread pattern - but the bulb is not up to the task. A more expensive (and much brighter) bulb should be purchased if you actually use your fog lamps for....oh, I don't know....driving in fog perhaps. I use mine in heavy fog and snow storms mainly, and appreciate a bulb that is as bright (or brighter) than the factory headlights.Despite the bulb, this is a great value and a good choice to replace the GM factory fog lamps which were prone to failure.

Easy to install, but I thought to preserve the original base of the lamp because it seems to be sturdier, but SURPRISE! the bases are not the same, so, they are not compatible... I hat to install the entire lamp.Because of the base, it vibrates a little...Well, for the price, I think it is a fare trade...

For the price I was surprised. These mount up very easily and there's just a speed nut insert that the bolt goes into. Beware, there is no other hardware included, so keep the original bolt if you have it. Other than that, it was plug and play. Make note that a bulb is already included in the lamp, and you need only to plug it in, mount it, aim it, and enjoy. It matches the stock lamp on the other side of my 2000 GMC Sierra 1500.

I bought this because you can't just buy a clear plastic cover for these you have to replace the whole light. I was very pleased with this item, it was for an 05 Yukon and installation was pretty tight meaning the smaller the fingers the better to install. . .I was impressed by the price, it was VERY affordable and much cheaper than the auto salvage here in town. It looks much better than the one that I didn't have to replace. Great product.

So far, this fog light hasn't shown inside condensation. I prepped the light with silicone caulk around the seams before installing - have driven through lots of rain, and so far, so good.

Ordered a pair of these fog lights for my 2005 Yukon as one lenses was gone and the other was fogged up. These replacements fit perfectly. Only complaint is they jiggle around a bit when going over bumps and the factory ones did not. Overall happy with these replacements.

Was an exact replica of the original fog lights on my 2002 GMC Sierra 1500HD crew cab pick up truck. And was very easy to install and align.
