My preferred vendor is Market Global because they ship the syrup in glass and they use a 'bubble wrap' type of protective sleeve in shipping each bottle. Notice the picture with the product: the metal screw cap seems to be the 'tip-off' for a glass bottle. Other providers use plastic. **Q: Is This Raw?** A: No **Q: Is it thick consistency like honey or is it thinner?** A: Not as thick as honey, but definitely a syrupy consistency. **Q: Is this good as the regular agave syrup cause my recipe call for agave syrup what is the difference cause i want it to turn out right** A: Over the last seven years, I have purchased Agave syrup made from the Blue Agave plant. The fermented version is famous in making a source stock for yielding high-end Tequilas. I find the product to be pleasantly and deeply sweet without being as 'densely, sugary sweet' as simple cane syrup. Agave syrup yields a healthier 'glycemic index' than sucrose based syrups, should that be important to you.
