We were looking for a set of knives to replace the set we have had for many years. This was a great set that gave me everything that I was hoping for. The knives are well made and the wood handles are comfortable to hold. The blade itself is quite sharp and while not serrated, it is still sharp enough to work well for the food you are trying to cut. I also loved the box that these knives arrived in. The knives could easily be given as a gift to someone else as they are very nicely displayed. For me though the knives themselves worked as promised. I needed knives that could handle the food that I was eating and after using them, they worked great! All-in-all I have been quite impressed thus far!

We have needed new everyday steak knive replacements for the last few years, but kept getting bogged down with our research because there are SO MANY steak knives out there. Honestly, what finally had me pull the trigger was the design of these knives, followed up with the many positive reviews. We bought one set for the holidays, then quickly purchased another set after giving them a few tries. We do hand wash and dry these knives. Classy design, easy to hold, sharp and a really great price!

I absolutely love these knives. They are sharp and have a spot for you finger tip to rest on when cutting. Beautiful details and wood is of good quality. Down side us they must be hand washed and occasionally will need wood oil. Also, no butcher block (I don't like sharp knives in silverware drawer).

Not all Laguiole style knives are made the same, This is a beautiful knife, Japanese design intention ~ formulated, quality shines w/ 18/10 stainless, straight blade, edge cuts softly! Simply beautiful as compliments tableware, silverware with balanced design & size, makes for a terrific presentation, prefect setting as some steak knives stand out- too heavy figurative & literally. Love them, substantial craftmenship!

I hate serrated knives and searched for straight edge knives for quite sone tine finally selecting these snd I couldn’t be happier. My husband agrees. Superior knives.

Nice and sharp, nice looking knives. Jimping on exposed tang missing in some areas making them look cheaper.

These Knives cut through meat like butter. They are well-balanced and easy to hold. They sit well on the plate without sliding down into the plate like my other knives. They are a great product for the price. I machine-washed two and will be handwashing from here on out to keep them nicer longer. I will update you on durability and usage after my teenage relatives use them.

I had purchase some like this before, but these were above and beyond what I expected. Really good quality.
