In my quest to better my health I've started to eat brazil nuts. Unfortunately, the prices in my town are ridiculous so I had to turn to Amazon. So far these are the best priced brazil nuts I've found. They are fresh & don't taste old or moldy. They are raw & also still have the skins on them so that does change the taste a bit.There are many reviewers that mention that they got rancid & bad nuts. Unfortunately that is a gamble you take with ordering food online. Being in a hot-box of a truck can accelerate food going bad/rancid. Especially if you live in, or are ordering during, a hot climate/time of year.All-in-all the nuts I got were fresh, tasted good & the best price I've found so far. That's all I ever could want.

This is a natural way to avoid taking a selenium pill to get your daily selenium needs met. We just eat one of these a day to meet the recommended "minimum" daily requirement for this critical immune system item. We can get sun exposure for Vitamin D3, eat oranges for Vitamin C, apples for Quercetin, but some of the other immune system ingredients like Zinc are not as easy to get as is Selenium via just one small nut a day!I liked the review comments and want to add that I concur that this is a very quality product that is fresh, and easy to eat. I would like to eat a handful a day but it can apparently become risky if your total selenium intake exceeds the recommended maximum intake of 400 units per day. Apparently your hair and nails fall out--not desirable for men and especially women.

The nuts tasted fresh and the flavor was what I expected for Brazil nuts. The price was good compared to other types of nuts for the volume in the bag.

I have purchased several of these and they can always be depended on to be top quality.

They taste good and reasonably priced

This is my second time to order brazil nuts from this company. Since I order three pound bags, I need to be confident that the nuts are fresh and will stay that way until I eat the last one in the bag. This company is doing a good job of insuring freshness, good value for the money and prompt delivery of the product. They did change the appearance of the bag, so it took me awhile to find the product the second time (I sometimes forget company names and so have to shop by familiar appearance) , but otherwise I am totally pleased with this company and their product and will certainly order again and again.
