Artscape Newport Amber Window Film Accent

I wasn't expecting much (but was hoping for the best!) when I bought three of these window films.I use window films on all of my overlooked windows as I think they provide better privacy and are more hygienic than net curtains (don't collect dust as can be wiped down). However, these are the first I have bought purely to "decorate" my windows. (I was looking for a cost effective alternative to sit alongside my "real" 1930s stained glass)I was genuinely surprised at how good they are. Yes, they are more expensive than most window clings, but most window clings have a flat pattern printed onto it. This cling is textured so it really does give the impression of being a lead/stained glass.As you will see from the photos, they look delightful, with tortoiseshell brown, muddy olive, cream and a flash of turquoise. Due to the style/size, they don't block out any light but when the sunlight catches them it casts colour onto the walls.Size wise, they arrive in a package that is 12"x12" containing 5 pieces (4 corners and 1 centrepiece), but what is handy about this design is that you fit it onto any square/rectangular window.APPLICATIONSlightly more difficult to apply than a "flat" patterned static cling. Normally you would use a squeegee to apply them. With this one, due to the textured surfaces, I found that carefully using a cloth and wiping in an outward direction was the most successful method for application to remove air-bubbles.I am really happy to recommend this product, and will be purchasing more in the future.If you've found this review helpful, please click the helpful button. This is a very good product. Easy to install with very good adhesion, easily reapplied if you make a mistake. Although this is designed for indoors I have used it outside on my gate sandwiched in-between two panes of glass to protect it from the elements. Very realistic, excellent!

This was easy, so not have to cut them out they peel off very easily. Look good, out window is not huge so corner pieces get lost a bit with the design in the middle. That’s my fault for not checking, woukd look better on a smaller window. Pleased anyway.

I am amazed at how lovely this is, and how good it looks. Easy to apply and manoeuvre on the glass while placing each piece. All done in 15 minutes and the effect is stunning. Really good quality and excellent speed of delivery at a great price.Purchased a second window film from this company for another window.Note. Neither package included the promised squeegee.

The kit was very simple. A sheet of adhesive peel off shapes. I used them on a small clear window in our porch. Now the window has a very interesting geometic panel in the centre and the four corners have a smaller panel which completes the look. It is still easy to see through the window but it makes it look less boring and adds a little colour. Happy to order more.

The key is applying it well, but once in place, you will be chasing bubbles for days. It looks good at a distance.

After reading the other reviews I was swayed to buy this and I wasn't disappointed. This is excellent quality and raised to give more detail. It is five different parts so it can be fitted and adapted to different sized windows, I definitely recommend.

These are excellent. They have various textures and look the business. Wanted to bring back the stained glass to our property and this looks like the real deal without the price tag.I added self adhesive lead to finish them off. Really pleased with the finish. Pictures definitely don't do justice to how fantastic these are.
