Readivac 36827 Room Zoom Stick Vacuum Cleaner, Blue - Corded

Worked very good for about ten times. I pluged it into use about the eleventh time and it was stone dead. About a month out of return policy with Amazon so I faxed ReadyVac and never recieved a response. I would stay away from this one.

Does a good job but the handle wants to fold.

It works fine, but it has a short cord. I have to plug it in each time I go to another room. Also came apart when it fell down.

When I read the other reviews on this product, I was hesitant to purchase it. However, I have been using a Readivac for the past 7 years and it still performs very well. I wanted another one as a backup because my house is very large and I vacuum daily. I love my dogs but I also like a clean home and I don't want to haul out my big vacuum on a daily basis. This stick vacuum cleaner is very lightweight, easy to assemble and does a good job picking up fur/hair along with dirt. It has good suction power and can be adjusted for flat floors and/or rugs. Will it be as good as your big vacuum -- probably not but it certainly will help keep your house looking clean in a relatively easy fashion. It is bagless but should be cleaned after every use. It is very easy to remove the filter, however, like all bagless vacs, be sure to place a large piece of paper on the floor before cleaning. The filter lifts out easily but caution, it will be very full of fur/hair and dust. I use an old brush to gently wipe the filter off and then I empty the dust bin. Most of the dirt, etc. sticks to the filter. It can get messy but so can life :) Just take your time when cleaning, don't turn on any fans :) and you'll be fine. The filter snaps back into the vacuum quickly and easily. If you have arthritis in your hands, you'll appreciate that feature. Also, if you have arthritis in your spine or shoulders, you'll appreciate the fact that this vacuum is lightweight. I hope that my new Readivac will be as good as my old one. It's been a real trooper and still is. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I would recommend this vacuum higly and without reservation. I guess it all depends on one's own experiences with this product but as for me, I'm happy with my Readivac, at least at this point in time. If the new one doesn't hold up, I'll be back to edit my review.

This is a really cheaply made stick vac. The pick up is poor and there is virtually nothing I like about it. I should have returned it, but have waited too long. I strongly recommend not purchasing this!

This was not a great stick vac. I returned it. Did not glide smoothly on my hardwood. Seems like the filter would require cleaning after every use to prevent clogging.

Met all expectations This is our 2nd Readivac stick vacuum.

Dust blew out of everywhere from where the two pieces of the unit joins and where the floor tool joins the head.
