Although the Mackbook and iPad Air are shorter width wise, the great thing about this sleeve is that it fits paper sizes as well - so you can include some reports or printouts as well. The small zipper compartment in the front is useful for the cord, charger, a pen and external battery pack. All fit without having to jam them in.The main purpose and benefit of this sleeve is to keep it simple. If you are looking to carry everything or more, you should look into a backpack or briefcase. But if you want to reduce what you need to carry with you to the essentials, I highly recommend this one.
