Case saver for the W
If you aren’t running this inexpensive protection on your street or dirt DRZ you need your head checked. The cast iron case is cheap and will break easy if your foot break or shifter hits it. These case savers will save you hundreds in the long run. Just use some RTV high temp adhesive to adhere to your bike. It’s the only good way I have found to install these.

Not a flush fit but they fit and hold when thick amount of adhesive is applied

Cheap option, grind edges to fit, works fine
Bought the silver colored option and installing on a 2022 DR-Z400. The right side cover fits fine. The left side cover is not exactly the right shape where there are cutouts. It will not fit perfectly as it arrives, but just a few minutes of sanding/grinding to correct the cut-out shapes will have it fitting.The covers are thin, but appear more than adequate. People claiming they can dent them with fingers must have received something different than what I got. Combined with RTV silicone adhesive I'm confident these will add a lot of protection.Because of the fit issue, I would recommend planning to grind to fit and then repaint the covers before installation.

Should do the job. Went on easy. Just use high temp silicone.

Looks good, but does not fit.
The savers look good, but when it is time to mount them it is clear that they do not fit right. The cutouts are too narrow, and the angle of a metal does not match the case. The result is the case saver cannot be mounted flush with the case.

Ignition side slightly off
Ignition side cover is slightly off but I’m not worried because it’s primary function is to save me from a cracked magnesium case. For what I paid it’s well worth it, despite slight dimensional errors.

2019 drz400sm fit perfectly what a great product for a low low price
What a deal for ten bucks they fit perfect all my 2019 drz400sm in the texture color silver I bought pretty close to the engine itself and looks great don't hesitate to buy these for ten bucks how can you even complain about anything

Needs filing to fit
For the money these will work better than nothing. Don’t come with any adhesive I just used some automotive goop or rtv silicone would work. The notches on the left side cover don’t line up exactly and they are still off a bit after filing the one edge to get it to sit flush but it will get the job done and that’s all I care. If you want a better fit it’s going to be more than twice the money on thumpertalk savers.
