Review: Excellent QUALITY my parrot and I love ! - I have the old cage that was powder coated metal and is rusting and coating coming off. This Prevue stainless cage is much stronger and better built. Very easy to put together and use. feeders are in front not on sides and I use a glass & stainless water bottle that attaches securely. I have a few other stainless fresh fruit and veggie hanging feeders that make the cage very pleasant and interesting to keep my parrot from getting bored. The Elenor Cockatoo and I are very happy with the new cage. My Bichon & Westie like to visit the bird now because the bottom of the cage is lower. Its a very good value and good size and easy to get in the cage through the good size door. I had some initial issues with a part that was damaged during shipping and they took care of it! I orderd another of them because these will last a lifetime. Plenty big for my African Grey. I know an Umbrella Cockatoo is bigger, but I'd think they'd have plenty of room. These cages are a little pricey, but they are high quality and worth it. I have 3 of them. **Q: Is the large cage appropriate fir a macaw?** A: I have two of these cages & I have a blue front amazon in one & an Illinger macaw ( mini macaw ) in the other , also my birds are out a lot . This cage is way too small for a full size macaw . **Q: Is this cage made of 304 Stainless Steel?** A: No its not. But its very good quality stainless steel. I wash mine outside with the hose and air dry it and I've had zero rust. 304 is medical grade but there are other grades that don't rust if that is the concern. It was pretty easy to put together. I did it mostly myself, just needed a second set of hands a couple of times to steady panels while I put the bolts in. It looks really sharp, and so far is easy to clean. I use it for my Moluccan Cockatoo to sleep in at night. He seems to have plenty of space. It seems like it is pretty durable.
