The metal is nice and shiny like you would expect of the Alchemist Silver Pocket Watch. Not like some of the others I've purchased which were dull, or worse yet gunmetal black. It also seems to keep time correctly, which is always a plus for a watch.I just have a few little complaints that keep it from being 5 star. First, the date on the inside of the cover reads "3. Oct. 11" " like it did in the Brotherhood version as opposed to the Manga and Original Anime which was "3. Oct. 10", but that's forgivable. I also didn't typo an extra " there. for some reason there is an " following the 11 that i can't figure out the reasoning for. The other thing that bothers me is that the background image on the watch face is a little too busy and it's easy for the thin black watch hands to get lost in the black background image, making it hard to read the time quickly.
