El Gran NACHO Libro Inical De Lecto-Escritura (Libro Inical De Lecto-Escritura)

Beautiful books! I will be using this book for my now homeschooling first grader who already completed a year of a Billingual Spanish immersion program at school last year. Therefore, he already had the basics that the other initial Nacho “Libro Inicial de Lectura” provided so I bought this “Gran Nacho” book instead as it is next in the series. Cultural Bytes, the seller, was very helpful in assisting me with the selection of the correct books for my boys. This book was recommended for covering reading and writing. Every page is very colorful and engaging. What I like best is that these books capture true Latin American cultural heritage rather than a translation from English to Spanish. These books are from Colombia and are used by the schools there. Many adults today remember these books as this is what they used to learn to read in Spanish when they lived in Latin America. The only thing that would improve the book is if it included a table of contents or scope and sequence at the beginning of the book. This would help me with planning the year.To close, I am relieved to find these books as it is very difficult to find Spanish for speaker books here in the US.
