I wanted a case with a cover because I often put my phone in my purse and did not want it damaged. Also, I frequently hit the power button and volume controls by mistake, especially when taking pictures. The Galaxy Alpha is not a common phone, and I had no luck finding cases that fit except on Amazon. I got the pink case with the mint green interior because of its high visibility. The case keeps me from hitting buttons by mistake, but gives easy access to everything. It also comes with a screen protector, which I think would be especially helpful for protecting the screen from scratches if I decide to carry a credit card or license in the slots inside the case. The case fits great, and the camera and all controls are accessible. It folds back easily, and the stand can be useful if you want to watch something in landscape mode. The magnetic catch holds well, but is easy to open and close. If you want a cover that fits and still gives complete access to controls, this one is for you. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Galaxy Alpha case yet *by J***B on Reviewed in the United States on August 4, 2015* This review is simply for the case as I already had a great screen protector.This particular case is far better than the first one that I ordered. The only possible complaint is that the case outside could be made of better material. That said, the interior of the case is a flexible plastic or hard gel. This alone makes the case great! The reason being is this: it absorbs normal abuse without so much as a crack. The previous case I ordered (from a different company) had a hard plastic that made the thing disintegrate over time simply because I was regularly putting it in my pocket and pulling it out. The flexibility of this interior allows for the case to take regular use and shrug it off meaning that I don't have to worry about replacing it after a few months of use. Too bad that the exterior isn't black leather or leather like in the same style, it would be 100% perfect. But I am not willing to drop a star for that as it is strong and functional. The colors (purple and a turquoise-y mint) are completely true to picture. Looks especially nice with the white version of the phone. The texture is nice too! Material cleans easily with a damp cloth.The phone fits perfectly in the inner silicone shell, and it even comes with a screen protector and little cleaning square. Has two credit card pockets, and a money pocket (where I keep the cleaner). The flap is magnetic and works on both sides - so it holds the front cover folded snug against the back too, while you are using the phone. Very slim, not bulky at all. Great for small hands!My only complaint is my "tap to pay" bus pass card doesn't register through the case cover, so i have to open the flap to use my card. I was kind of hoping to be able to just tap the whole case. But I suppose this would be a plus for security purposes!
