I accidentaly sliced my nail off with it 😅 so be careful as it is extremely sharp! On the other hand that's what you need when prepping food so I still recommend it!

My relative had this in her kitchen and when I said I didn’t like using them because they never work (having bought a few over the years) I tried it and was amazed by how good it was. It is sturdy, sharp, easy to handle and just a dream to peel potatoes and carrots. It has at least halved the time I used to take peeling veg! Even better, it is such a great price, a bargain. Simplicity is the key. I have bought 3 now for myself and family to use. Highly recommended.

This peeler appears identical to that in the good grippy Ox range, performs just as well, and is considerably cheaper.(A few months later) And now I know why it's cheaper. Out of three peelers (my brother had one) two have failed with the same fault - one side of the blade has broken in use.But cheap, buy twice I guess 😕

I have to say this peeler is excellent, easy to use for both left and right handed people. The hand is soft grip but still feels sturdy in your hand. Perfect cutting edge, so good we bought two.
