Great book for practicing Arabic words
Great book, it was delivered in time, it contains of 34 pages in which 17 pages contain a whole scene and the opposite 17 pages contain the names of the objects in that scene, this really helped our kids where we use the scene to quiz them after they memorize the words. The pictures are clear and minimal ,the pages are not crowded and each picture is referred to by the name in English, the name in Arabic, and the spelling of the Arabic name written in English which is great for non_arabic speakers.as a bonus the pages have the option of turning them into flash cards which is great for older kids.Would recommend it.

Useful, but has questionable transliteration
This is a nice easy book if you're a beginning student of Arabic or if you're introducing an English speaking student to Arabic. The only real criticism is that the transliteration of the words to English doesn't do justice to Arabic letters. For example, this book transliterates the Arabic word for cat as "kett". lowercase "k" does not represent the letter Qaf. The double lower case "tt" for Taa is also confusing. If the pupil knows some Arabic, these transliterations won't cause a problem, but they might confuse beginning learners.

Great book for Arabie Lessons - don't hesitate!
Book was recommended to us by family. Great rcomendation! Enjoy reading with our young daughter and using to teach names & words. Use the pages/picture to talk about animal sounds/noises. Different items around the house. Some words might be pronounced differently or different than what we learned as kids, but we just pencil in our way of speaking and have learned a few new words.Would love to see this as a cardboard/thick page option, but would buy again!

Very good book for reinforcing Arabic words
I love languages and my friend speaks Arabic often with her family and with her Muslim friends. Me, being a Christian, have not been taught Arabic but this book was awesome. I love this author's way of teaching. - obviously directed at children or rather parents teaching or reinforcing language skills in their children.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
