CyberDERM - Retin + Erase Nighttime Retinoic Treatment | 1% Active Retinoid Ester (0.50 oz | 15 ml)

I've been using this daily for about 3 years and it is the only retinoid I've ever used; visible results (all the things retinoids are supposed to do) started at about 2 - 3 months. I've never had any irritation---I didn't start using it daily until a few months in. This is the only over-the-counter product that I know that's not packed full of a bunch of other inactive ingredients. Please never discontinue this product, nothing else fills this niche.Think of it as a toned-down OTC minimalist prescription. If you're looking for something that went out of its way to look and smell amazing, contains some moisturizer or whatnot, this is not it. The company definitely went out of its way to simply stabilize the active ingredient and offer a product at a good price. You can read more about this type of the fancy retinoid used by searching around on the cyberderm website and googling.My biggest complaint is the container it comes in: the pump will fail to work as it depletes, occasionally right off the bat. By unscrewing the cap, pulling out the bag full of the product, and squeezing/fiddling with it you can get the pump to work again. On rare occasions (twice in 3 years / 15-20 bottles or so) this might accidentally puncture the bag. The product will also vary in consistency as you use it, getting thicker as it depletes --- but this never really impacted its efficacy in my experience.Despite this last complaint I still give it 5 stars as there's nothing quite like it as far as I'm aware.

I had high hopes after reading an article that recommended this product. I find it greasy, smelly, and it stings my skin. The scent is like a home perm mixed with mildew. Yuck. Returning.

Blech... hated this. It's totally greasy. I don't really understand how it's supposed to work. I think I threw it out.

I am ordering my second bottle of this product, the first I ordered directly from the website and it did take a while to receive. I am a fickled skin care product user and always on the hunt to help with fine lines and tightening. I did receive allot of compliments while using this product and moved on to others after (not sure why, my fickled ways!). Going back to this one as my skin looked and felt the very best! The price is amazing for the results and was thrilled to find it on Amazon for less! Yes it does stain the pillow case so beware.

This is the only retinoid that has only 4 ingredients and very pure and stable. I haven't used the product long but will update down the road for any visible results. I stopped using Retin-A b/c I felt it was causing more inflammation and making my skin leathery and dry. It's got a nice creamy texture and a cool yellow color. Only have had it a week but will continue and give updates.
