This coat fits the bill perfectly, I'm so pleased with it!. It's well-made and lightweight but has a warm fleecy linining. The claim that it's waterproof hasn't been fully tested but so far any mud/dampness has been easy to just wipe off when we get home.I measured my dog first and found that a Small size would just about fit her but I bought a Medium to be sure. I'm very glad I did buy the slightly bigger size as it means that the coat fits over her harness easily, which is great as there's a hole for the lead to come through. My dog looks adorable in this coat and I like that the hood is detachable, but she looks so cute with the hood up that I've left it on! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant coat for Shih Tzus *by P***B on 5 February 2015* We bought this for our 4.5kg Shih Tzu and the Small size fits perfectly. We originally bought both Small and XS but the latter was far too small for her.The coat is well made with a hood that doesn't go over her eyes like some other coats we own.
