Works exactly as described
I loved this product so much, I went ahead and ordered the bigger 4oz bottle just now, so I have it on hand should I need it again. I had two 14" blotchy orange patches on each of my dark espresso leather couches (A result of a big dog who likes to drool while sleeping.) The first product I tried to use on it was nothing but a messy disaster. This on the other hand worked brilliantly. It was a piece of cake to apply and only took a few minutes once I cleaned the leather. I just threw on a pair of hair dye gloves and used one of my makeup sponges to work it in using a dabbing motion (like applying under eye concealer.) It was touch dry in less than 30 mins (ceiling fan on.) I did two applications just because it was a such a bright orange and the next day, put on leather conditioner. Even I cant tell where the discoloration was. The only tip I have for anyone using this product is be careful near the stitching on your couch. I was careless in one section and dyed part of the beige stitching dark brown but honestly, no one but me will ever notice it.

GOOD STUFF - Used on my leather couch and worked well
I have a $2000 leather couch that has the "Top Grain" type of leather (look it up - its a variety of finished used on couches). It supposed to be impossible to re-dye... I picked what looked to be a close match in color. My dog has been sleeping resting her head on the couch and her drool has worn the color off the leather, but left the leather in good condition otherwise. I used this product to slowly touch up the area by dabbing it on and letting it dry. While it washes off easily from your hands when still wet, once its dry, it seems to soak into the leather and does not wash off. I tested trying to wipe it away with a wet cloth and NO COLOR transfers onto the cloth. WOW. Very impressed. A little bottle goes a LONG way.

jumping up and down on it like Tom Cruise on Oprah show)
It worked very well for my leather couch which started shedding its exterior skin after my 3 years old abused it (you know, jumping up and down on it like Tom Cruise on Oprah show). I was sick of cleaning up flakes and it was too damaged to pass it on for donation. So I give a try -- can't get worsen than daily peeling! Let's just say that you cannot recover the original texture of the leather (thus one star off), but it does mask color fading and prevent further peeling of leather. So it did serve our purpose very well. From untrained eyes, you cannot tell if was restored but if you beam lights from a certain angle, you can tell that underneath of coating, there used to be peeling area. It was very small bottle so I was afraid that I needed to buy more, but I applied three times coating (by the way it dries very fast and no residue coming off) for about three 10 x 5 areas but I still have probably one a few more coating worth left in the bottle. I probably would have wasted had I bought a bigger one. I may use it for shoes, too.

Color Didn't Adhere
I have a brown leather loveseat and couch combo that is approaching the 4 year old mark. There are a few places in the seats we commonly use where the dark brown color is starting to wear off so I thought I would use this product the restore the color. The solution comes out of the bottle in a deep rich brown color but I found it did nothing to my furniture at all. The color did not absorb into the leather. I then placed the lid back on the bottle and shook vigorously in case that was the issue and tried again but this made not difference. Maybe I just got a bad bottle but I didn't find this did anything to help restore the original color of the leather. I have top of the line leather furniture so I know the quality of the leather is not the issue. I hope others have better luck with this product.

Worked great at covering worn spot on Kenneth Cole genuine leather handbag
Used on a worn spot on GENUINE Leather handbag. Was able to match color correctly due to enlarging sample on my phone & holding next to my bag. It's a very thick product when shaken. I applied it first a few times on spot with a Qtip. Each layer dried extremely fast, and I then applied over entire handbag with a cloth. I think in some prior complaints, it looks as if buyers tried to use on faux leather, which I'm not certain if it works on. In my case, I feel that it worked well in matching & minimizing the look of the damage. Not certain how it will wear, but not rubbing off on hand

A week after applying, it is still leaving burgundy residue on a paper towel.
I was very impressed with the initial application on my leather couch. The next day, I wiped a white paper towel over the area I treated and a good deal of burgundy coloring came off. I proceed to wipe the treated areas down with towels to try to remove any excess stain. The next day, more color was still coming off on the paper towel. A week later, the same. So, the couch looks much better, but we now have to avoid wearing any white clothing when we sit on it. Not sure if the trade of was worth it.

Great Product!
Two years ago I had a tear the top of the front of the arm of my leather couch. Seeing as it was in a difficult spot I decided to have a professional repair and they also used a color dye to restore the worn color on the chair and couch. It cost me $200. Two years later the repair isn’t holding so I decided to repair it myself ad use the leather restore. Looks as good as what the professional did. My set is leather, 12 years old, daily use from 2 adults and2 dogsand looks great. I also use Lexol conditioner every few months. I don’t expect the color to be a permanent solution and will reapply when needed. If your cushions have zippers you can add a layer of quilt batting to fluff them up. The attached back cushions my set also have zippers so I added some poly Fil to those. Looks like new!
