3 Swords Germany - Sapphire Metal Nail File Set 2 Pieces with 1 Piece 3-Way Nail Buffer – Nail Care Made in SOLINGEN/Germany

I have no idea what the reviewers who gave this 1 star recently are talking about; they are not cheap Chinese junk. They were made in Germany. I purchased the set for that very reason; Solingen is a city in Germany not China. Before purchasing, I did research on-line for the 3 Swords Germany company and found out that items sold by 3 Swords Germany are manufactured in Germany. Specifically, the Sapphire Nail File Set is confirmed to be made in Solingen, Germany. I, for one, am extremely pleased with the nail files; they work great. So much better than a bendy emery board, other brands of nail files, or a nail file with metal grooves.

3 Swords Germany nail files are the best! I started off with their small travel nail file, which comes with a case (cover the file pulls out of). You can purchase it here on Amazon. The travel nail file is much stiffer, than the files in this set. The files in this set are flimsy, but they file to the same degree as the travel file. All of the files in this set have the same strength of filing (similar light side and heavy side). The different lengths allow for varying surface coverage (i.e. smaller to larger nail surfaces). The 3 Swords Germany files are excellent for thick nails. Also, they work well on pet nails. I would recommend the small travel nail file with case for pets, because it is a stiffer metal and easier to use with pets.

These are a nice set of nail files. They're not 'top-o-the-line' but they're very nice for the price.The various lengths will work nicely by placing them around the house, so I can use them when I break a nail when trying to use my fingernails as pliers... Yep. We know how that turns out.Anyway, there was only one oddity with these files. The mid-length file of the five has the coarse/fine grit reversed from the other files as you might be able to see in the 2nd and 3rd pictures. Since I'm not using these as a professional manicurist I'm sure it won't matter at all. Just kind of strange how that happens in what must be an automated process. More things that make you say "Hmm".

The two metal nail files are incredible, honestly, the best I’ve ever had. Super precise, smooth, and strong. You can really feel the quality, and they leave the nails perfectly shaped without tearing.The buffer, on the other hand, feels a bit low-quality, the material is very light and doesn’t seem as durable.Still, for the metal files alone, this set is totally worth it!

I couldn't find a file with a coarse and fine finish side on one file in stores. I'm very happy with these and the nail buffer was a nice bonus.

Have good luck with German-made metal products that are blades and trimmers. It's why I ordered this set of files. Definitely happy with the craftsmanship. Feels sturdy. One side is more coarse than the other as you would expect. They don't feel as if they'd wear down quickly like other dept store brands do. They don't snag which has happened with other brands. The buffer is unnecessary and not great, but that isn't what I ordered the set for. I'm happy with the metal files and two is great for me to have one in the living room and one in the bedroom where I usually use a nail file. Definitely a good purchase.

Quality files in many sizes at a reasonable price for the package. My usual brand lowered their product’s quality to the point where the files left my nails ragged. This product fixed that issue and for the same price!
