When this arrived I discovered my concerns to be unfounded! It fits my K8V like a dream, and it feels like it'll protect my already slightly cracked phone from more damage. I've dropped it a few times (I drop my phone probably about 5 times a day...I know, pretty bad) and so far all has been good! Now, as for the installation, I didn't read the instructions, so I had a bit of a hard time getting on. I thought at first it came with a weird little guitar pick (I actually have a guitar, so I wouldn't have complained, but it didn't seem to belong), but turns out it was to use for getting the phone in the case. Ah well! Anyway, the case looks great, and just like the picture! Although a quick note on the stand: it's a bit difficult to pull open with just your fingernails, which I don't think is a problem since I won't be using it much, but it that's the reason you're buying it, maybe don't use long nails to open it. Review: Nice sturdy case, beware flimsy kickstand tho - Lovely, sturdy design. Only reason I gave 4* is that within a week my kickstand broke on one side & a week later the other side broke. 😐
