Will this attach the the side of a bathtub?

bathtub? A: It would depend on how thick the lip is on tub , it has 2 clamps that hold it but tubs arena all the same . I am not in front of it at the moment but a guess would say the clamps would open to about 2 inches.

I believe in US. It is designed primarily for use off grid I think.

I am in the uk, i notice issues with the wringer from older reviews, have these been resolved? eg rust, loose handles, zips buttons, stability.

I love my mangle. If you are going to put an item with zips or buttons through you must reduce the pressure. Personally I avoid putting the whole item through it and leave the vulnerable bits unwrung. One has to accept that a spin dryer will remove more water. I choose to use the mangle on good drying days. I do more hand washing of laundry these days reverting to my 1950s childhood- acceptable results, better for the environment and uses much less electricity- only heating water.
