I have prescription glasses for reading music , books etcand also distance glasses for driving. Most of the time though I use readers. I can watch TV, walk through a store, see signs and normal everyday things with good quality readers.Before a recent tour of the US, my 250 power readers fell apart. I ran to Walmart and they only had expensive 275 power readers but I was stuck I had a plane to catch in 12 hours. I bought them.I like to have lightweight glasses, I have always been bothered by rimmed glasses that weigh more than I likeand the glasses I purchased were also much heavier then I liked.Later on the tour while in Chicago I got tired of the heavy readers and went to a dept store there.They also did not have 250 power but their glasses at 275 were much lighter than the ones I had.Long story short when the tour was over I wanted to find readers at 250 power that were super lightweight.After a search on Amazon I found "Success Eyewear" and searched lightweight readers at 250.There was a wide selection of a lot of cool eyewear and soon I found what looked exactly like what I wantedand in addition there were TWO pairs for the same price I had gotten the one old readers for. I figured , what the heckIll try these , and I made my order.The 2 pair of glasses arrived on time and to my amazement they were light as a feather but looked verywell built, all the connections were solid.I put them on and to my complete surprise they were perfect, fit great, the lense was stylish and I was already super happy. Then the surprise of surprises came, the new glasses that I bought were clearer by far than either of the 275 power. It wasn't that 275 was too much for me, it was that these glasses have better lenses. I went back and forth10 or more times to make sure I wasn't somehow mis-judging. No it was true these glassesat half the price of discount stores were better quality and perfect for me.One note however the glasses come with a protective film on part of the lenses which was hard to see.When I first put them on there was an area of each lense that was a bit blurry. It took me a minute to realizethat these glasses had these protectors. I took them off and that's when I had the great quality I just wrote about.The company reached out to me after my purchase as some responsible companies do to make sure I was happywith my purchase. I wrote "Hanna" back immediately to let her know that I was thrilled.I am also thrilled to share this all with you in Amazon land.thanks for reading! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Revised review - They are OK! *by B***F on Reviewed in the United States on October 31, 2018* Turns out that the sticker is supposed to be removed. The seller sent me an email (very polite) and told me to remove the sticker.Voila! They are just fine. Duh.I ordered the 1.75 strength and found them to be completely unusable.1. They are constructed by adding a corrective oval piece to a generic plain lens.2. The corrective oval piece only covers about 60% of the total lens.3. The corrective oval piece is VERY inconsistent in its magnification.I found it literally impossible to read anything with them. Reading without anything at all was easier.I would view this as an entirely fraudulent product. The people making these have to be aware how ineffective they are.DO NOT BUY! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value, what's expected for the price. *by T***G on Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2020* I like the fact they are ultra light and have hinges, as typically readers with ultra thin frames don't have hinges, just bendable ones. I couldn't give it a perfect rating because the bridge needed quite a bit of adjustment, was too wide for the bridge of my nose and the frame needed some shaping to get it to sit right on my face. The lenses are good, made sure I got the right magnification factor, but the lenses do feel plasticky versus feeling like actual glasses, and just feel a little aberration or distortion around the edges but as long as I keep my eyes centered within the lenses, they are fine. I also thought the lenses were going to be a little larger but that's ok, I use them a strictly as readers.
