Reliability and Engineered Quality. The Brand Says It All.
Light for its size, fits the hand well, easily handled, great features and super easy to switch nail modes and adjust the nail strike. The reviews and videos I read and watched, solidified my decision to buy this Metabo HPT Framing gun. After using it I am impressed with its speed and accuracy and after hearing all the comments from former users, I understand why it has been considered a reliable and durable tool. Look forward to many hours and future years of use.

Excellent and consistent performance - highly recommended!
This was purchased to replace a DeWalt and I couldn't be happier with it. I've only used it for about 1200 nails so far but it has performed flawlessly - no misfires, very consistent performance and the light weight is certainly appreciated. Overall I'm very impressed with the quality and performance of this - much better than any that I've used before.

An excellent product!
This Nailgun exceed our expectations. My son is doing some remodeling on my home and had mentioned purchasing a Hitachi Nailgun (now made by Metabo) based on recommendations made by contractor friends of his who still use them daily. He told me that he was familiar with that particular Nailgun as he had used it before but couldn't remember the model number. Minimal research on my part quickly determined the Nailguns durability and it's performance is beyond question as evinced by the many accolades it has received over the years. As my son is doing the remodeling work per gratis, I felt a good start on "tokens of appreciation" would be to purchase a good nailgun for him to use (and keep). We had both owned Nailgun kits before made by another manufacturer and neither of us were pleased with them. I am a price-conscious shopper, but in this particular case it was less of a factor for obvious reasons After doing a substantial amount of research, I was debating between purchasing the older style Hitachi Nailgun (NR83A5 now branded Metabo) and this newer model Nailer offered by Metabo. At the end of the day I decided to purchase this newer model, thinking that if my son did not like it, I would just keep it and then purchase him the older style for him to use. I figured he couldn't lose either way and if this newer style, lighter Nailgun worked as well as the reviews said it would, he would be pleasantly surprised. I made the final decision based on the positive customer reviews I had read and the product specifications, including the weight. The substantially lower price factored in but not as much as it might have under different circumstances. I knew I would be using the Nailer on occasion and liked the idea that it was lighter, something that appealed to me after owning a different brand Nailgun that was much heavier and somewhat cumbersome. I also knew my son would be doing considerable overhead framing work at my home during the remodeling process with whatever Nailer I purchased and if the unit worked well, he would certainly appreciate the lighter Nailgun.. After talking it over with him and how it would play out if for some reason he was unsatisfied with the newer model Nailer, I ordered this nailer. We are both very pleased that I did! It has performed flawlessly. He has put over 2,000 nails through the gun without a single misfire or jam. I made note of the one complaint about the hanger that comes on the Nailgun being "too wide" to be of much use and ordered the $15 aftermarket kit that easily replaces it. While I am sure I would not have regretted purchasing the older style gun, I am glad that I got the newer model for him to use on my project. It is easier to maneuver in tight places and obviously easier to hold over his head constantly (at times). I don't normally write reviews, but figure this product was worth the time it took to let you know my experience.

Great, powerful nailer
First time using a framing nailer. I’m framing a shed and had been doing a few sections at a time and had been hammering nails in by hand. I finally caved in and purchased this nailer. It has helped out immensely with my project. A started and finished one complex wall over a weekend and another wall section in a single evening. I was taking days doing everything by hand. I’ve shot through about 500 nails and have not had a single jam. It’s a very powerful nailer and built to last. It’s a bit larger than expected, but has been easy to use. It does take some time to get used to using this beast of a nailer having only used small nailers and staplers before. Only complaint for this nailer is that it would have been nice to come with a rafter hook and nose cap. Just a couple cheap pieces of material that really should be standard in the box.

Inserts nails of 2” to 3/12” like they were being driven into butter. Amazingly fast and and accurate. Super impressed.

Buy it today
My husband is a General Contractor and uses a nail gun a lot! I bought this for him and he absolutely loves it. Its lightweight, ability to toenail is much greater than Hatachi. He says it’s worth every penny paid.

Very good quality nailer
Excellent framing nailer. Has not jammed or miss fired once since I bought it. Reasonably light and agile. Packs a punch when nailing into old hemlock fir.

Doesn't work...
Still cant seem to get it to work. It won't fire any nails, its set up correctly. Not sure where else to go here? Tried contacting the manufacturer but they are based in America and dont answer. Is there something that we are missing??

It’s an awesome beast!
I’m very happy with my new Metabo 21degree full head nailer. I’m doing a deck build and some renovations in my basement. Easy to use, light weight, and best of all it works with full head nails. I don’t like clipped head or offset nails they just don’t seem right. Even some engineers think that full headed nails are better. The only draw back is that it’s hard to find plastic collated 21 degree nails in the big box stores. It is however just as easy to order nails from Amazon and have them delivered directly to you. This Metabo 21 degree nailer drove a 3 1/2 nails into solid 6x6 treated lumber with ease. Don’t take my word for it, look at the video. So much better than swinging a hammer. Two thumbs up!!!
