Best thin nitrile-coated work gloves ever!
One of the best thin gloves ever made! With that said, though, I haven't really come across any other of this type of glove that comes anywhere near as great as these! Flexibility is excellent, and is important, since I don't like using bulky gloves. I also need to reach in my pocket with ease. The coating gives me a better grip on just about anything, but a bit weak with oily surfaces. I don't intend to handle such surfaces though, it just happens occasionally at work. If it gets too dirty, all you gotta do is throw 'em in the washing machine! It also helps keeps my hand clean so I don't have to worry about getting things dirty when I get off work, and stop by somewhere to buy things or a meal.Working for UPS, I handle and load hundreds of packages that come down onto my AF belt. Being at the front of the belt, I need to do pick-off as well, slightly handling almost all of my other coworker's packages. It's an extremely fast-paced job, requiring my hand motions to be swift, and sometimes involving lots of friction. Most pairs of gloves, even of the same coating material, only lasted within a week, some just a couple days! These, however, last around 2-3 weeks, making this 12-pack last over 6 and a half months already! They're still not quite done yet, but I've already ordered another pack, and am very much content with the quality of these gloves. Atlas has proven to be a capable manufacturer of high standards. Similar thin gloves are quick victims of wear-and-tear, but these so far are the best of them! Like others have said, a second skin of sorts, which still gives freedom to the dexterity and precise actions of your hands and fingers.

Used this brand for many hard-working years
I have repeatedly purchased this particular product because they fit perfectly and last quite well. Even through being laundered several times. I reduced my rating by one star, perhaps unfairly, because with the kind of weeding I do in my lawn, the middle fingertip is the first thing to go, as a tiny area becomes worn and is always the reason I have to trash the glove. It may have to do with my fingernail on the longest finger distorting the material and succumbing to abrasion. But I really love the way the gloves fit, the soft elastic fabric at the wrist, the water-proof coating on the fingers and palm. They aren't hot to wear, here in south Fla. Try'em, you'll like'em!

GREAT gloves for construction or gardening ...
GREAT gloves for construction or gardening, and now in "guy-black". They are so supple I can tie my shoes and bandana with them on. Yet they are tough enough that I can dig in sandy dirt with my fingers, carry rocks, bricks, concrete blocks, logs and handle metal without damage to my hands from abrasion and cuts. This is partially because the snug cuff does not allow any dirt/sand inside. But mainly it is by virtue of the very tough, though thin, nitrile rubber coating on their gripping surfaces. They breathe through the back, and if fit properly, are VERY comfortable, even when wet. For my kind of work they outlast leather gloves at least 4 to 1 while providing equal or better gripping capability for any tool.Their only drawback is they are not as puncture resistant as leather. If you want to prune roses, get leather!

Great glove!
I love the Atlas gloves and have been using them for quite some time now. They seem to last for quite a while and I put them through a lot sometimes. Good grip and good fit. Only downside is that after a few days they start to smell like my high school gym clothes...It should be noted that the last package I got (a week ago from the date of this review) were not made by Atlas Glove, they appear to be the exact same glove but carry the name of 'Showa 370' on them. Not sure if every seller is going to have the same stock or not. These came from "Smith Safety & Supply". Hopefully they are the same glove and I can get the same wear out of them.

Atlas Work Gloves - Simply the best value!
I've been using these gloves for about three years now and I absolutely love them. At only about three dollars per pair when bought in a package of twelve here at Amazon, they really are the best value. These gloves are extremely durable, comfortable, so much like a second skin that I don't have to remove them to send my boss a text message on my cell phone. The only bad thing is that if you sweat a lot from labor, after you wore them for a couple of weeks they make you hands smell like moldy cheese. However, I solved that problem by soaking them everyday once they begin to smell, in hot water with liquid laundry detergent for at least two hours. It's easy to do and well worth it to use them for about six weeks until finally a hole appears in one of the finger tips. Depending on the type of work your doing will determine if they last longer or shorter than they do for me, but regardless of that they out last most other gloves save for the thick, suede leather type more suitable heavy labor without as much of a need for more prolific tasks. I actually have a pair of that leather type for one particular task I perform occasionally, but since it's not something I do on a daily basis, that pair is yet to be replaced after two years of little usage. I've tried so many different types of gloves and found these at Home Depot at six dollars a pair, but they stopped carrying them. I found them at Ace Hardware for nine dollars a pair, and I was willing to pay that much because they are so durable, but they stopped carrying them. So one day I did a search online and wouldn't you know Amazon has them and at only three dollars a pair; I was ecstatic! I highly recommend them to anyone who's job activities require both prolific tasks and repetitive lifting of boxes and packages as they provide excellent grip while not overheating your hands as much as similar types that don't offer ventilation on the top part of the glove. I can't say enough about this great product, I don't think five stars are enough, I would give six - plus!
