The light is brighter than I expected and she loves the flexibility of projecting different shades with the remote. It is easy to change angles and distances. She is already asking me to please order four more of these to enhance the effect and to have lights for her friends to control when they are visiting. I like the security and safety this offers in case of power outage.It would be nice to offer rechargeable batteries for this product, because I can see already that it will get a lot of use or perhaps a usb connection to recharge like a cell phone. My granddaughter even said she wouldn't mind a plug in version of these lights as long as there was a long cord and the remote still controlling it.I would also like the option to order multiples in one package -- that makes an even more impressive gift. I recommend this nifty light for a few different uses. I would use it as relaxing illumination when I do not need much light in my living room.
