Bristan GLE385 W 8.5 kW Glee 3 Electric Shower - White [Energy Class A]

Sent this back for a refund as purchased the wrong type. But based on my experience with the right one (also a Bristan shower) I will say it is a very good shower. Attractive and easy to plumb having multiple inlets for the water supply. I really like the visual temperature display - doesn't really add that much to its functionality but looks good. I much prefer the on/off button and the way the shower keeps flowing for a few seconds after shut down. This helps to clear hot water from the system and protects the thermostat from over use. It is a common problem with some showers that when you shut down, the elements inside stay very hot for a few seconds heating the water in the small reservoir to point where the safety thermostat kicks in.

Brought this to replace shower when bathroom refitted. Black casing very nice fits well with my new bathroom. Good shower, easy to use and adjust temperature- nice flow. Great price

Shower works great when I first got it, it heated up the water very quickly but now I’ve had it for a little while. It does seem to have dropped a little bit on the temperature despite turning it up, the blue display at the top which shows the number basically the temperature it’s running at, has stopped working properly it looks like one of the LED lights has gone out so a number three just looks like a backward C. Apart from that, it is actually still working, so until it packs up completely, I have no intention of changing it.

Easy to fit, more so than most. Plenty of options for routing power and water. Nice solid structure, buttons etc.

Excellent shower for the money, much better than the offers from Triton etc. Around the same money, looks stylish and temperature screen is a nice touch

This is the second Bristan we've had. The first lasted 4 years before it stopped working.It was easy to install and has several different access points for the water supply.Both digital displays have stooped working within 2 months of installation.The unit has good temperature control and water flow through the shower head.

Comments for rear entry water and power. Not strictly a like for like replacement for New Team as inferred by Bristan. Bottom right entry for water supply is possible, (I had read in a description that it was not), however the pipe entry needs to be about 25cm to the left of the original position if you wish to also hide or reuse the original rear cable entry. Screw fixing positions also different.Easy to control and we are pleased with it's performance and design.

Second time purchasing this shower. Happy with it. I've uploaded images that show the difference between the different models as I couldn't find the comparisons when I was purchasing the shower

No entiendo como artículos de esta clase no hay ningún comentario, hace muchos años que tengo un BRISTAN y lo he cambiado por avería, este modelo es mejor que el averiado.Se nota en la factura de luz, solo consume cuando te duchas, el resto del día sin consumo.Lo único malo que tiene es la potencia contratada con la compañía de luz, pero en casas nuevas no suele ser problema, de todas formas es muy importante revisar la potencia contratada.Sale agua caliente casi al instante con la ventaja del ahorro de agua también, antes tenía que esperar muchos segundos a empezar a notar el agua caliente, cuando te duchas es muy estable la temperatura, la verdad que se agradece mucho.En su día decidí comprar este articulo por encontrármelo en el extranjero y me gusto.
