Used them in checked luggage and they worked well, though I did still put a plastic bag around it and strategically positioned soft clothes around it for added padding. They are noticeably thinner and seem to stretch more (making them just a little thinner still) than the BUILT ones and have taken to preferentially using the BUILT ones instead... except for when I'm transporting several bottles. Haven't had any mishaps, so maybe the thinner wall doesn't matter one bit.
