You can change the update time on the fly. Ability to send messages and you dial the watch if needed. I didn't want to fork out in a mobile due to him either losing or breaking device. This is best thing I have bought him, his words. He can now go out and play with his friends and I can either track his movements or as he is doing calls me every so often to let me know where he is. Was really reassuring to know where he was at all. Very easy for him to use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well, easy to use, GPS wonky right now *by J***. on January 15, 2019* So far so good. We got a speed talk mobile sim card for $10, it activated the service on the phone within 30 min. Our 6 yo son has been calling us and practicing leaving messages (while sitting next to us on the couch). Right now the GPS is not great - it tells me he is like 3 miles away. Not sure if this is speed talk mobiles problem, or the phone.
