I had a hard time finding something rectangular. I like the retro look and the domed sapphire crystal makes it a little more unique. I thought the second hand might take away from easy reading but not at all. It is elegant but can be an everyday watch.I did see the watch at 2 jewelry stores in Dallas being sold for full retail price.

Very large and bulky. Keep in mind it is an "Automatic" which require constant arm movement.

The good news: For some men a watch is the only visible jewelry and this one is a real gem! I never contemplated of purchasing this brand, but since I received a notice of 68% discount, I could not let this opportunity pass me by (thank you Amazon!). The watch is designed with inspiration from Art Deco era. I find it unique: three squares, all complementing each other. The hands, contrasting blue are all nice touches adding to the overall impression of thoughtful design and quality. The uniquely shaped sapphire adds to the overall elegance.The bad news: I have been using quartz and solar watches and this is my first automatic watch in a long time. I am aware that even the most prestigious mechanical watches cannot compare for accuracy with quartz mechanisms. After the watch arrived and monitoring its accuracy, I discovered that it was losing 2 minutes every 24 hours, so I had it returned to the seller (Marchello & Co.), who were very professional during the process. When they returned the watch, I noticed that the watch now loses about 7 seconds every 24 hours, which is acceptable with automatic watches. It seems to me that this watch (like all mechanical watches) demands attention from the owner, which is typical because it is not just a watch but an engineering accomplishment that has a built in personality.The beautiful: There are many watches out there, but few can match the uniqueness of this one. For its appearance and craftsmanship, it is definitely a five star, but I gave it 4 stars because the mechanical watches, as far as precision is concerned, are not perfect yet.

The perfect everyday watch. It can easily go with a suit or jeans and is very comfortable. The blue hands pop off the silver dial and you'll love the way this watch feels on your wrist.
